Lounging in the heart of an ancient rainforest in Malaysia’s magnificent Datai Langkawi resort, sharing nature’s blissful tranquility with dusky leaf monkeys, tokay geckos or Sunda flying lemurs amid the mangroves. Enjoying five-star beach boy service on a perfect mile-long, palm-fringed crescent of sand on Thailand’s Koh Phangan, later wandering the moonlit beach later in search of supper, the waves alive with magical phosphorescence.
