DAYS 1-3 | Mumbai
Mumbai day tour & Mumbai at dawn tour
Formerly known as Bombay, the bustling city of Mumbai sprawls along India’s West Coast and is the largest city in the country. This thriving metropolis is a go-to destination for travellers curious to experience a modern Indian city. It serves as the heart of India’s world-renowned film industry, the incomparable ‘Bollywood’, and offers a kaleidoscope of culture, colour and flavours to enjoy. Lapped by the Arabian Sea, this urban seaside peninsula is a melting pot of old and new India.
Your guide will be on hand to take you out into this thriving city. You’ll visit the Prince of Wales Museum built in grand Indo Saracenic style, drive down Marine Drive, Mumbai’s most popular seaside promenade, and see the Kamla Nehru Park along with the Hanging Gardens on the slopes of the Malabar Hills, offering spectacular views of the marine lines and the Chowpatty Beach. You’ll also swing past the Jain temple, Mani Bhawan where Mahatma Gandhi used to stay and the Dhobi Ghat. And of course no visit is complete without seeing the Flora Fountain, the colourful Crawford Market and Victoria Terminus Train Station.

DAYS 3-5 | Kochi
Guided tour of ancient Muziris, cradle of Keralan civilization; Fort Cochin guided tour
Upon arrival at Cochin airport, you will be met & transferred to your hotel. Also known as Cochin, Kochi is a city in southwest India’s coastal Kerala state. This attractive city has served as a popular port for over 600 years and is known for its eclectic architecture and its array of religious monuments, museums, galleries, cafes and antique shops. The city stretches across a number of peninsulas and islands, which can be reached by a network of water taxis and bridges. The majority of Kochi’s visitor highlights can be found on the peninsula of Fort Kochi.
Embark on a full day adventure setting off to discover the Ancient Landscape of the Muziris, the first communities to settle in this corner of India as far back as 1000BC. Amazingly, Kochi was the cradle of religion in India with the first Jewish, Christian and Muslim settlements springing up here. The afternoon will bring an altogether different experience setting off by tuk-tuk to discover the old fort area which passed through the hands of various European powers until independence. Today, the legacy of European influence is still evident through architectural landmarks which your expert guide will explore with you along the way.

Idyllically set at the confluence of three mountain streams, Munnar is a beautiful hill station in the Western Ghats mountain range in India’s Kerala state. The village once served as a popular vacation resort for the British Raj elite who flocked to here to enjoy the pleasant cool climate and the scenic natural surroundings characterised by rolling hills dotted with colonial bungalows, streams, waterfalls and 19th-century tea plantations.
Visit a tea factory to learn about the processes behind the nation’s favourite drink and, of course, have an opportunity to sample the golden nectar.
Venture into the plantation: a morning stroll in the crisp mountain air is invigorating, and it is all the more interesting, when you get the opportunity to try your hand at tea plucking (subject to the growth of the leaves) and interact with the workers who do this as their daily work.
