This Yala National Park classic borders the wildlife park but given the fact that its boundaries are somewhat notional, do not be surprised to see boar, elephant and deer wandering the grounds of Cinnamon Wild! The 68 chalets are sympathetically in tune with their landscape. All are spacious, elegantly furnished and thoughtfully designed, using materials and colour that fit seamlessly into the bush. Yet inside, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find air conditioning, a minibar and superb showers to wash away the red dust from your exhilarating safari on your return to your jungle home.
There is R&R in abundance here. After watching the resident crocs in the lake or perhaps the water buffalo in the park, you will no doubt be tempted to do some submerging and wallowing of your own. For this, we would definitely recommend the hotel pool, a soothing retreat where the only wildlife you will find is of the human variety.
When it comes to dining, you’ll be at the top of the food chain, with a choice of restaurants and cuisine.
