Arriving in Thailand, the land of smiles, will leave you grinning from ear to ear. Your Yonder chauffeur will be waiting to whisk you off to The Siam, your Bangkok boutique bolthole. It will be difficult to drag yourself away from the delights of your luxury Bangkok hotel but there’s a city waiting to be discovered on foot, by boat and on the Skytrain, with ever helpful assistance from your knowledgeable Yonder guide. You’ll experience jaw-dropping culture, friendly locals and endless vistas of contrast.

DAYS 4-8 | Chiang Rai

You’ll jump on a flight and head to Chiang Rai in the far north of the country. Here, on the border with Burma and Laos, you’ll settle into the Anantara Elephant Camp in the heart of the mysterious Golden Triangle. Aside from pampering the pachyderms and interacting with them during their daily routines, you’ll enjoy venturing out by boat onto the mighty Mekong river to explore the small tributaries, canals and waterways that are the hallmarks of this border area.

DAYS 8-11 | Khao Sok
Private walking safari with an expert; Tubing on the river Sok; Kayaking on Cheow Lan lake
You jet southwards again towards Surat Thani, where you’ll jump in a car and be driven to the little known Khao Sok national park. Here the prevailing soundtrack is the astonishing song of the gibbons and your view is the oldest evergreen rainforest in the world. The interaction with elephants will continue as your lodge takes great pride in its ethical stewardship of these gentle giants. The towering karsts will be experienced from water level paddling in a canoe over the shimming surface of Cheow Lan Lake.
DAYS 11-14 | Koh Samui

Castaway island paradise; Private speed boat transfer; Complete R&R
Your private speed boat will race you across the the azure sea between Koh Samui and nearby Koh Phangan. You’ll step off into the warm shallows in front of the Anantara Rasananda, one of our favourite castaway beachfront hotels. The arc of sand on Thong Nai Pan Noi is picture postcard perfect. You’ll love it! On your final day, your private speed boat will be waiting to take you back to Koh Samui, where you will catch a flight to Bangkok to connect with your flight home.

When you are ready to go Yonder you can make your reservation. We usually take a 30% deposit (but this can vary depending on your holiday). The balance payable 90 days prior to departure. Best of all, booking with Yonder really is headache free. You have complete financial protection for all holidays which include flights through our ATOL licence (11237).
And once you’ve booked, you can be absolutely sure that you’ll have someone to turn to whenever you need to. We will be there for you 24/7.
